1) 2024 Concert!
We are excited to let you know that we have just set a date and that the next Beatbox student concert will be taking place on Saturday 5th October at New Life Church, Railway Terrace, Rugby, CV21 3LJ.
We’ll be asking all students/parents to let us know if you are interested in performing or attending and we will be finalising details and starting to run rehearsals over the summer!

2) Introducing our new Beatbox Performance Award Syllabus!
Our new Beatbox Performance Award syllabus is a great alternative for students who are learning primarily for their own enjoyment but still wish to see markers of their progress and achieve certificates in their instrument (Levels 1-8) without having the pressures of studying official and accredited music grades by exam boards. Students will have the opportunity to work towards achieving playing levels 1-8 in their instrument by learning, recording and submitting videos of themselves performing their chosen songs/pieces and set exercises and repertoire which will then be marked by a member of our teaching team.
Our performance award syllabuses can also be used as a stepping stone to studying official music grades in future as our levels will still be equivalent in difficulty to most of the existing exam board syllabuses.
We have already developed the Acoustic Guitar Syllabus and behind the scenes, we are currently working on our singing, piano and drum syllabus too!
3) Lesson Fees
We always aim to keep our lesson fees as low and affordable as possible. Our last fee increase was in April 2022. Due to increases in the cost of living and other general costs across the board, we will be increasing our lesson fees from 01 May 2024.
Lesson fees from 1st May 2024:
£20 for 30mins
£29 for 45mins
£38 for 60mins
*Please note that we will still be offering discounts to siblings, parents or students who are learning multiple instruments.
Sibling, parent or multi-instrument discounted fees from 1st May 2024:
£18 for 30mins*
£27 for 45mins*
£36 for 60mins*
Lesson fees can still be made payable by BACS or cash. We're flexible in terms of how regularly you would like to make lesson payments - our preference would be for a block of monthly lessons up front if possible as we're charged by the bank per transaction(!) but otherwise weekly payments would still be fine 🙂
Updates to our Beatbox App
We have just released the latest update of our Beatbox app. It essentially looks and functions the same as before but we were aware some students/parents who were using the latest phone models were having some difficulties downloading and using the app.
Our Beatbox app is a great way to access lots of useful information at the click of a button. You can view your upcoming lessons, other useful info and click straight through to the online student portal to access your learning resources.
